Class of 1965 60th Reunion

Can't believe its time to celebrate 60 YEARS... and our "train" theme is a perfect way to celebrate heading out of SHS together in '65 and boarding "life's train".  It's been quite a ride to date, sometimes fast...sometimes slow; sometimes exhilarating...sometimes scary.  But it's been our collective journey and one this reunion intends to HONOR.    Whether you are coming for the first time or one of many, please make every effort to join us.  This reunion weekend is about our shared roots, our spirited, unique journeys, and the honor and remembrances we can offer to classmates whose "train ride" was cut short.  Our 60th Reunion is also planned as our LAST large Big Bash event as we "downsize" future gatherings.  Plan to join us September 12-14!.  We've made every effort to keep the fun weekend affordable thanks to the generous donations of classmates.  We've also taken into consideration our venues, making sure everything is handicapped accessible.  Last, but not least, we've filled the weekend with fun , memories, and another great opportunity to gather as a class.

We are a Class that shares much spirit with other SHS alumni, but did you know...
     1. Sandusky was one of the first high school to be established in the State of Ohio with its first building in 1845.
     2. Sandusky's first graduating class was in 1855.
     3. 110 years later, the Class of 1965 had the distinction of being the LARGEST CLASS in the history of the SHS.
     4. ...and now 60 years later (in 2025) we are still one of the largest graduating classes- ranked #3 in 170 years!
